Some common signs and symptoms are a pain in the mid- or upper-right section of the abdomen.Most of the time, gallbladder pain comes and goes.

Any gallbladder problem may cause nausea or vomiting. Pain that worsens after eating a heavy meal, particularly fatty or greasy foods.

The pain usually feels dull, sharp, or crampy. Pain that increases when you breathe in deeply.
