What Are The Symptoms Of Herpes Infection?
Question: What are the symptoms of herpes? is there a way you could tell if I had herpes from a picture?
Brief Answer:
Blistering rashes filled with fluid.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Herpes is usually presented as blistering type of rashes. It will be filled with fluid. If you send a picture of it then it will be helpful in identifying. Also it will be associated with itching , burning sensation and pain.
Using anti viral creams like acyclovir will be helpful for this. If symptoms are trouble some then oral famcyclovir can be taken also. Applying aloe vera is also good.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

How long after you are infected before symptoms show up?
Brief Answer:
Window period for antibodies to develop is 2.weeks to 6 months.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
Window period for antibodies to develop after exposure is 2 weeks to 6 months. But clinical infection is not must. Even if you don't get clinical infection a blood test will show you whether you are infected after the window period. You can get clinical symptoms like rash and pain once your body immunity is low after this window period.
Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you.

Brief Answer:
It can be herpes.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
It can be herpes if the pimple is fluid filled one. If you get it more or get very often then anti viral therapy will be required. You can apply acyclovir cream locally. Taking antihistamines like cetrizine will be helpful to relieve itching also.
