What Are The Symptoms Of Leukaemia?
Lab tests are more accurate than dipstick
test and instant test detects only esterase
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear ,
Dipstick detects only glucose, esterase enzyme, ( means leuckocytes) diabetic patients have insensitive urine dipstick , also urine should not be done within 24 hours of contrast study as it produce false positives, more accurate is ssa test , pH more than 9 shows false positives too,
Otherwise dipstick positive for blood and lab negative means myoglobinuria or hemoglobinuria or malaria or clostridium infection
Your symptoms definitely suggest infection consult nephrologist please you need Ast test too and treatment and sgot and sgpt tests and USG if physician decides on examination
