Hello and welcome in HCM

I can understand your concern

Some people with walking pneumonia may have an ear infection, anemia, or a skin rash prior the lung infection

The following are the most usual signs and symptoms that might be encountered in walking pneumonia:

Chest pain during a deep breath, cough that may come in violent spasms.
Mild flu-like symptoms such as fever and chills
Sore throat, headache, tiredness and lingering weakness that may last after other symptoms go away.

However every patient is specific and might have several signs and symptoms.

Brief Answer:
Post nasal drip syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

So according to what you explain you are suffering from Post Nasal Drip syndrome (PND).

Te cough in this situation is a usual symptom do not worry
It doesn't mean that you have pneumonia only with such kind of cough.
If the nasal secretions are going down to the lower airways than they should be excreted from with the cough reflex which is a normal reflex of the organism
