Could yu please let us know if this of any concern. Also wanted to go for Knee Replacement surgery whether it would bring any Complications to Heart before or after surgery.
What are the treatment options to Solve the LV Diastolic dysfunction.
Kindly refer to the detailed answer below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
LV diastolic dysfunction means the heart is not relaxing properly because of hardening of the heart muscles. Mostly the leading cause for this is high blood pressure but in your case high blood sugar can be the cause for diastolic dysfunction as glycosylation causes hardening of the heart muscle.
Diabetic patients are prone to heart diseases more than a non- diabetic patient and so require more care which include proper control on blood sugars.
Going for knee surgery will depend on Diastolic Dysfunction grade like if she has grade I then she may go for surgery but after surgery her physical movements will decrease which will again affect her diabetes and heart health.
I’m not able to see any attached reports, so kindly upload your mother’s report from your dashboard so that I can guide you in a right way.
Kindly revert with required reports.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have seen all the reports and ECG of your mother and I would like to tell you that both her ECG and echo are normal for her age.
There is nothing to worry about the diastolic dysfunction as it’s just grade 1. Moreover, it’s basically an age related change in echocardiogram and doesn’t significantly affect any management or procedure plan if patient heart health is otherwise alright. Her heart function is normal.
I hope this information will guide you properly and will relieve your worries.
