What Are The Withdrawal Symptoms Of Amphetamines?
Question: Is it standard procedure for a new doctor to contact my old doctor in order to refill a prescription? I moved to a new city, but had a bad experience with my last doctor. My new insurance required that the prescription be pre-authorized, since he prescribed 1 pill three times daily. He charged me extra money for the authorization, but when I contacted my insurance company - they never received it.
Brief Answer:
I would have asked the previous doctor...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
although I don't believe there is any relevant law in your country (I practice in Greece), most doctors would like to have some kind of confirmation for such drugs. Drugs like this are commonly abused and the doctor has to be certain that the patient is taking it for the right reasons...
I can't comment on the authorization issue though. This has to do with your doctor and the insurance company.
I hope you find my comments helpful!
You can contact me again, if you'd like any clarification or further information.
Kind Regards!

I have been on it for a month - I was previously on it for around 3 years and got off of it. But recently with a new job with higher demands and more stress, I felt it was best to get back on it. I was drowning and unable to concentrate.
Brief Answer:
a month is not a long time
Detailed Answer:
A month is not a long time. Physical dependence might not have developed yet. Psychological dependence is another issue... Since you've been using it for 3 years in the past, using it again now may make you more eager to take it, than if you'd started it for the first time.
Kind Regards!
