Brief Answer:
Metformin and exercise

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
PCOS is a chronic condition due to hormonal disturbance.
The hormonal disturbance leads to irregular periods and anovulation leading to formation of small follicles in the ovaries.
Metformin improves the underlying hormonal disturbance and hence helps in improving the situation.
I will suggest you to exercise regularly and use metformin for 4-6 months regularly and then see whether your cycles become normal or not.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Brief Answer:
Polycystic ovaries

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have reviewed all your reports.
The blood tests are normal, and the ultrasound shows polycystic ovaries.
The medicines should be taken for at least 6 months.
No other medicine is recommended for faster recovery.
PCOD is not classified as major or minor.
It has no category.
