Brief Answer:
You may follow up with your appointment as scheduled

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Thank you for trusting us with your health concern

Pain in the area of ovaries during orgasm is concerning for possibility of infection or an ovarian cyst. A pelvic examination can rule out an ovarian cyst. While taking the PAP smear, you can also send the vaginal swab for culture and microscopy to rule out infection.

So, please discuss these possibilities with your doctor at the scheduled visit to remove IUD.

Hope this answers your question
