Question: A doctor prescribed Diclofenac Potassium 50 mg and I am taking each night Zolpidem Tartrate 10 mg and I feel a little insomnia What can I do

Hello,

Well, if it's pain that's bothering you then you can safely take another 25mg (half of the dosage) of Diclofenac.

However, please note Zolpidem should not be taken more than the prescribed dose. The maximum permissible limit in your case would be 12.5mg, means you can take another 2.5mg (if you can't get 2.5mg right away, either 1/4th of the 10mg tab or half of a 5mg tab) can be taken.

Please don't exceed this dose otherwise it may hamper the next day alertness.

Just take a deep breath, take the mind off the sleep/insomnia-thought and lie down in a completely dark room, put on some soothing music perhaps. You'd be feeling the effect within a while.
