I have a few questions for you to be able to advise:
1. What is the reason you are taking the pantoprazole (GERD, gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, gastritis)?
2. How long have you been taking it
3. What other medications were tried before it?
4. What specific side effects are you experiencing?

Yikes - don't take any more pantoprazole. You are having an allergic reaction.
For the continued allergic reaction, continue to take Benadryl, 50 mg every 4-6 hours. If the reaction gets worse or does not start to settle down, you may need to go to the ER where they will likely give you a short course of steroids to tamp down the reaction. However, that may make your stomach problem worse.
For your stomach, I recommend switching to Zantac 150 mg twice a day or 300 mg once a day. It is an acid reducer and is also a histamine receptor type 2 blocker which may help a bit with your current reaction.
I hope this information helps and you are feeling better soon!

How long do the symtoms last?
Brief Answer:
Information
Detailed Answer:
There is a wide range of how long an allergic reaction to a drug will last. It can range from a day to a few weeks, but typically it is over in a few days. The important thing is to make sure it isn't getting worse. Worsening symptoms would be tongue or throat swelling, shortness of breath, wheezing, feeling faint, heart racing. So for any of those things, you need to go to the ER.
Be sure to have it entered into your chart that you are allergic to pantoprazole. What you are experiencing is not a side effect - it is an allergic reaction.
