What Can I Take For Acute Bronchitis And Sinusitis While On Other Medication?

Question: Following acute bronchitis and sinusitis I have no relief from the swishing and the sinus congestion. What xan I take at 76 and on blood pressure meds?

My chest is okay, had that done 10 days ago at the ER when acute bronchitis hit me hard.
Packed sinuses is the problem. What can I take that would break up the stuff and help them to start draining safe for my age and blood pressure med?

Hello,

As you explain the history in your condition it would be better for you to do a chest X Ray and some blood tests such as CRP and Hemogram for lung infection. If they come positive than antibiotics are needed for example Claritromycin orally for one week.

Hi,

For sinusitis are needed antibiotics, steroids orally and frequently lavage saline water for the nose for one to ten days. Instead for blood pressure the treatment should be potentials during the treatment but it is your treating doctor that will decide about it.
