What Can I Take For Diarrhea And Cramps Bellow The Navel?

Question: Hi. Yesterday i had diarrhea and cramps bellow the belly button. I had a glass of Smecta in the evening and it was a litfle better. But i still have cramps. I toke another smecta an hour ago. The stole is not longer that watery. Should I stay on smecta? Or try something else. Thanks.

You can easily stay on smecta, as long as you experience a positive effect of it. If you get a fever or have blood in your stools, I suggest you see a doctor. Remember to stay hydrated.

Hi and thanks for answering my question. Apart from some undigested food i didn't notice anything else. Since yesterday my stool started to be more solid. I took my temperature last night it was 37.2 and now it's 36.8. What worries me are the cramps i have under the belly button. If i took smecta at 6 pm, what time should i take it again?

Hi,

Don't worry about the pain, unless it is too immense to be treated by Tylenol like NSAIDs. You can take up to 4 sachets of Smecta in a day.
