What Can I Use To Treat A Rash On My Penis?

Question: I have a rash on my penis what I can use to treated?
Brief Answer:
Possibly tinea infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Given the location of rash, the most likely diagnosis is Tinea (fungal infection).
You can apply Lotrisone (betamethasone- clotrimazole) ointment. Lotrisone is a better option for tinea infection than fluconazole. Apply Lotrisone twice daily for 2 weeks.
Keep the area clean and dry.
Wear loose fitting breathable cotton underwear.
Wash thoroughly with mild soap and warm water at least twice daily.
The rash will clear up in 2 weeks.
Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if you need further clarification.
