Question: I had an ultrasound scan performed last month which showed a had a moderate prostate of 33cc but everthing else was normal and my recent blood test showed I had a PSA of 4.08 ng/ml. However, the creatininemie level was 73 and it should be above 89. I've also been taking Tamsulosine for about a month and a half also. What can a urologist do assist me? Many thanks

Brief Answer:
Not to be worried about.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query
Based on the facts that you have posted the size of the Prostate to 31 cc indicates mild enlargement of Prostate is common at the age of 57.
The PSA Level is well within normal limits

The low creatinine levehas no significance It is the raised level that indicates kidney disease.

Continue taking Tomsulosin.

Thanks and Regards
