What Can Be Done For Cough For Five Days Followed By Fever And Recurrent Cough In A Two-year-old?

Question: This is for a 2 year 4 month old baby boy , Can u please advise specialized in XXXXXXX to handle XXXXXXX jonson like symptoms. Following is the case history:
Constant Cough
7th Oct - 5 Days
1) S-Mucolite ( Ambroxol hydrochloride, terbutaline sulphate, guiaphenesin with memthol) 3 times a day
2) 1 AL Syrup ( Levocitirizine hydrocholoride syrup) 2 times a day
3) Azithiral xl ( azithromysin liquid 200) - Once a day

13th to 17th
Fever - 100/101 - Cough and Cold
Ambrodil - S ( ambroxol hydrocholride & sulbutamol Syrup)
2 times a day


Initiation of Stevens johnsons (SJS) like Symptoms from 22nd , spreaded slowly on 23rd and excessively from 23rd night to 24th evening:

Body skin peel off around eyes, forehead, chest, back, stomach, shoulder , around Testicals area



From 24th morning/evening - Current Medicine:

neosporin cream - antibiotic powder for infections/healing wounds
Pedicloryl Syrup ( Dr Reddy) - Sedative Drug
amoxycillin & Potassium clavulanate - Injection - 300 MG
( Zuventus) - bacterial infections

Histafree (Fexofenadine)- Suspension - ( Mankind) - Allergic rhinitis and allergic skin conditions

dexasone -2 ML Cadilla - ), skin diseases, severe allergies
(Dexamethasone )

T-bact 5 GM tube ( Glaxo smith) - bacterial infection

Avil - anti inflammatory minor aches and pains

Skin Biopsy Report to come Tomorrow

Can you please upload a photograph of the involved area.

Patient is in XXXXXXX and admitted to Noble hospital since last 2 days - Dr XXXXXXX Muchal pediatric and Dr Khare Dermitalogist are looking into this case at XXXXXXX

My relative in XXXXXXX will send you pics in couple of hrs however SWAB report etc will come by tomorrow.

I am communicating from XXXXXXX and my no is 0000 - Intent of this query is to know that is current treatment referered in first communication is sufficient and should we do anything more.

Thanks for the follow up.
I have checked the list of drugs. Everything is fine except for amoxicillin clavunate. This antibiotic can infact cause Sjs.
However the treating doctor must be having a reason for that.
It's good that both pediatricians and dermatologist are taking care.
There is no Sjs specialist as such.
Let the child be there and send me photograph.

Dear Dr XXXXXXX

My relative in XXXXXXX has mailed you pics from Oye pappe mail id to the YYYY@YYYY and subject as attn Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

There is one more change in kids medicine , doctor has replaced Histafree with Aptimust Syrup (Cyproheptadine - HCI, tricholine citrate and sorbitle).

Please review his pic and new medication - Kindly do suggest any further course of action and any additional things that we can do.

Thanks for the follow up and photographs.
Around 30% body area is involved.
The medication prescribed is good.
Cyproheptadine is a stronger anti histamine and will be better.
I hope the child is recovering.
