Question: Sir my wife is 9 th month pregnant woman.. Recently she had a small pain in her lower abdominal.. My doctor advice me to go through urine culture test.. Pus cells were found in the urine at range of 8 to 9...we are afraid because she is 9 th month pregnant.. This is third time since she got pregnant.. Before getting pregnant she diagnosed with uterus TB.. After treatment it was cured...

Kindly visit a Gynecologist, so that she may do a physical assessment and suggest few tests like Urine Culture or Ultrasound abdomen to rule out any renal involvement.
Antibiotics are the typical treatment for this infection. It will not affect the child if controlled early. In case the infection is recurrent or persistent then it can cause pre term labor pains.
