What Can Be The Effects Of Frequently Taking Levonelle Emergency Contraceptive?
Question: Hello, I took Levonelle on Thursday and last night during sex the condom spilt. I'm anxious about taking it twice, but also want to ensure that I am not pregnant, please can you advise - obviously I am going to sort out a more reliable form of contraception going forward.

Thank you. I had my coil removed about 2 months ago, so I'm still settling in, I also have polycystics ovaries so my periods are not regular. However, the last time I believe I had a period was on the 4th of May. I only bled for 2 days, but I had all the symptoms prior including tender breasts and cramp, so I think that would have been my last period. Thank you very much.

In irregular cycles it is very difficult to comment about the day of ovulation as you must be aware of, Sk in my opinion you should take another emergency contraceptive pill so as to combat the possibility of pregnancy.
But since you have polycystic ovaries and irregular cycles too, avoid taking emergency pills in future.
