What Can Cause Intense Thirst And Frequent Urination?

She has diarrhea very often and has started to complain that she is very tired all the time.
She has also been complaining for a few weeks about aches and pains and head aches.
She is very irritable, very emotional at times and is always hurting herself.
She has so many problems that i dont know which ones to deal with first.
Any idea what could cause all of these problems?
The symptoms what you are describing sounds very suspicious for possible diabetes. Diabetes is a disturbance of the normal blood sugar in the bloodstream. When this happens it causes a number of potential symptoms. These symptoms can include increasing increasing urination or increasing appetite as well as increased in thirst and irritability.
Diabetes can sometimes be inherited from ones parents but is not always the case. If you have any significant history of diabetes and your family or in the fathers family then this might be a consideration. Otherwise it sounds like it may be something that developed on its own.
I strongly suggest that you take your child to see their physician for a full examination as well as laboratory screening testing and urinalysis. The true diagnosis of diabetes can only be made with a laboratory analysis. I suggest you take your child in as soon as possible as sometimes a high blood sugar can be quite toxic.
I thank you again for submitting your query. I hope you have found my response to be both informative and adequate. If you have any additional concerns regarding this please do not hesitate to ask and I will get back to you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Robert.
