Question: II have hair loss a t the top right of my forehead . My head there is sore to the touch. Its the only spot with hair loss. What can cuase this ?

I have a lot hair . other places its hard to see my scalp.

Thanks for the follow up and photographs.
It is alopecia aerata.
Usually the disease is self limiting.
Apply a mild steroid cream such as cortisone or desonide daily in night for a month.
Take Tablet Biotin 10 mg daily in morning for a month.
This should help you.
I am not able to appreciate any damage in the skin of the affected area hence the soreness is not associated with hair fall.
Probably the concern of hair loss has attracted your attention towards that area.
Just apply the said cream and take tablet.
