Brief Answer:
Foods rich in fibers will help.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

There are many things that can help constipation during pregnancy. They include

1. Eating more fruits, vegetables and grains, which are high in fiber
Foods Rich in SOLUBLE Fiber: Oatmeal or oat bran; Brown rice; Orange, grapefruit, green plantain

Foods that can act as laxatives: Prunes, figs, Psyllium husk, shredded wheat, flaxseed (oil), Senna, Cascara sagrada, Aloe vera juice, Dandelion root, Molasses, Liquorice, etc.
You can also have regular isabgulla husk to help constipation.

2. Drinking plenty of water and other liquids

3. Drink a glass of water before going to toilet. This will help in the increasing the bowel movements as well as compensate for the water loss from body decreasing the dizziness.

4.Take probiotics- lactobacillus acidophilus spores.

5.Take magnesium supplements or magnesium rich foods like green leafy vegetables.

In case all these do not help then do get a laxative prescribed from your gynecologist like Cremaffin for constipation.

I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health.
