What Casues Bleeding From A Bicep Tendon Repair Site?

Yes, there is a reasonn to be concerned!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
I am so sorry to hear about what happened. Seen that this was a tendon repair, I will like you to go to the hospital as soon as possible to make sure that the stitches were not ripped off. If they were, the doctors would need to put new ones to enable proper healing. This bleeding may as well be from the stitches that were put on the skin/or wound and not necessarily those put on the tendons. In either case, we need to be sure of what damaged you may have suffered and how to fix it well.
Were you asked to limit the use of this muscle? was a restrain like a scarf put in place?
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.

Was this a full rupture or partial rupture?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for following up with me.
With no internal stitches, then I am afraid there was no suture point placed on the tendon. Maybe this was a partial tear and immobilization was the technique chose to address it. The sutures might have been for the wound on the skin and not placed on the tendon.
Follow up with the doctor to understand more on this. Are you able to flex the forearm on the arm? How difficult is this and has there been any change since the incident?
Let me hear from you!
