Brief Answer:
Get a coagulation profile done
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for using HCM.
Up to 3 gm of fish oil supplement per day is safe and usually does not cause bleeding.
Taking more than 3 gm per day only is sometimes associated with issue with clotting and may cause bleeding.
If you are taking other blood thinners like aspirin, then that may also contribute to this bleeding issue.
You can stop fish oil supplements and get a coagulation profile test done.
I hope that answers your query.
Let me know if you have any more questions.

I am taking a baby aspirin as my father died of two strokes and was recommended by my doctor. I was taking 720 mg of fish oil is that too much. Could a baby aspirin in combination with the fish oil have caused my finger to bleed out?
Brief Answer:
720 mg of fish oil is not too much
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
72o mg of fish oil is not too much. As I said earlier up to 3 gm per is considered safe.
Yes the combination of fish oil and baby aspirin could have caused the bleed.
If there is recurrent bleed, try to stop fish oil supplements.
