What Cause Frequent Urination At Night?

Question: Hi Doctor
I go 2 to 3 times to urinate every night and having this problem from last 10 years now.
I have done Urine basic and culture test, they are fine.
Also i have checked my blood sugar level (fasting and after lunch), that is also good.
is it normal or any concern you see.
Kindly advice I am worried now

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have nocturnal frequency for urination .

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have frequency for urination in day time too?
2) How is your urine flow is it normal,moderate or poor?
3) Do you have urgency for urination ?

The nocturnal frequency at the age of 40 years could be due to Bladder Neck Obstruction and needs to be investigated

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic
tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
2) Serum PSA.
3) Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy)

Further treatment if required will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
