What Cause Light Period Bleeding, Stomach Cramps And Headache?

Question: My period only lasted one day, i had a few hours of bad cramps, then light spotting and it stopped. I took a pregnancy test and it was neg. could i still be preg.? I'm having very bad headaches, and some nausia and cramping.

Hi,

I am Dr Aslam here to help you.
If you had some bleeding ON SCHEDULE,especially with the usual accompanying symptoms,you are unlikely to be pregnant,and sometimes bleeding may resume after an interval of few hours;even if no further bleeding,pregnancy is unlikely.

If you are not convinced, you can still do a urine pregnancy test 1 week after your expected date of starting the period.
