lidocaine patch
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you are having numbness and tingling and sharp pain in your left thigh u need to do electromyography and a nerve biopsy test to determine if your pain is caused by muscle damage or nerve damage.
Magnetic resonance imaging (M.R.I) of left thigh and back is also recommended.
You can reduce the sharp pain in your left thigh by having nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
If the pain still persist then you can apply lidocaine patch. This patch contains the topical anesthetic Xylocaine. You apply it to the area where your pain is most severe, and you can use up to four patches a day to relieve pain.
