Question: I AM 36 YEAR OLD FEMALE SWIM 60 LAPS A DAY AND TAEBO PT24/7 WITH BANDS 4-5 TIMES A WEEK. IN THE LAST MONTH I HAVE HAD SWELLING AND TIGHTNESS IN MY HANDS AND LEGS THAT I HAVE NEVER HAD BEFORE. IN THE LAST WEEK MY LEGS, FEET AND HANDS HAVE BEGUN TO TINGLE AND IT HARDLY DISAPPERS DURING THE DAY TIME. NOTHING SEEMS TO MAKE IT WORSE OR BETTER. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? IM WORRIED. IS IT OVERUSE OF MUSCLES?

Hello,
I have studied your case and I see lots of patients like you as I am a sports medicine specialist. Cramps, muscle soreness and spasm are common in athletes because of following
1. Stress, fatigue
2. Lack of vitamin B 12 and calcium
3. Lack of salt
4. Lack of calcium
So i think one of the above mentioned factor can cause such symptoms. I would suggest you to get your B 12, calcium estimation as soon as possible.
I have following suggestions to my patients( Mostly sports man) with similar complains.
1.Drink lot of salt in juices and water.
2.Take calcium and vitamin D daily in diet
3. Take Methylcobal and carnisure tablet daily.
