Brief Answer:
Chronic kidney disease

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM.
I have gone through your query.
CKD means Chronic kidney disease.
Renolog contains ketoaminoacids along with essential aminoacids. They are proteins of certain chemical structure that would release less nitrogen metabolic products on digestion.

It has been seen in clinical studies that this products when used with low protein diet can decrease uremic symptoms and and may decrease progression of renal disease. generally you can use upto 5 to 6 tablets per day under guidance of your physician.

Is it necessary to take, without seeing the patient I cannot confirm this finding and your treating doctor is the best judge.
This provisional advice provided by me is based entirely on the input provided to me. I would suggest examination by the doctor.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
