What Causes Fordyce Spots On Foreskin, Tight Foreskin And Red Patch On Penis?
Question: Hello Doc.. My name is XXXX and i am sexually active 30m. I am havin few questions related to some issues i am having mention below.
a) I am having 10-15 small warts kind of things on my foreskin. They are small skin colored and soft in touch. Even if m having erection they are still small and soft.
b) I had sex with a girl who was suffering from some fungal infection. After couple of days i felt some itching and redness on my glance and foreskin. my foreskin became tight and it was like rash on the foreskin when i tried to pull it back on the
glans. It wasnt comfortable. Then i used fourderm cream for a week and it worked well. On 8th day i found a bright red patch on galns. i think it was coz of the cream i applied. might be the applied quantity was more then required. So i discontinued the same.
c) 4 years ago i was having some small warts on my face nd scalp. My doctor prescribed my dicaris then. i dont remember about the dose. he used electrocautery to remove those warts from my scalp.
d) Again last month i got 2 warts removed form my scalp by electrocautery. what kind of viral infection is this.

First of all, consult a Dermato-venereologist. Self medication will always be dangerous.
a. The skin color papules over the skin are not necessarily warts. It could be a condition called as Fordy's spots, for which no treatment is necessary and they are harmless and have no clinical importance.
b. Possibility of yeast infection is there. Diagnosis should be confirmed by examination and investigations by a Dermato venereologist before starting treatment. Mismanagement leads to misdiagnosis. Wrong diagnosis leads to cure beyond reach. Partner also should be treated in case of yeast infection. Otherwise reinfection is possible.
Fourderm consists of 4 ingredients. One of the ingredient only is going to act on yeast (fungal) infection. Remaining three (steroids, antibiotics, other drug) are unnecessary and can cause adverse and allergic reactions and can produce irritant effects over the glans penis.
c. Warts has different modalities of treatment. Electro-cauterization is one among these and very well effective.
d. Warts are caused by a virus called as human pappiloma virus belongs to the group of PAPOVA virus.
