Question: Does red throat cause of hiv I had red throat not swollen just red white phlegm some headaches. no fever no swollen lymph nodes no join pain.

Reddish throat is a sign of throat infection. Throat infection is a very common problem for anybody with or without HIV. This is not AIDS indicating or defining disease. STD other than HIV also can cause similar picture.
Only an examination and appropriate Laboratory investigations will be able to differentiate these possibilities.

Great I had this red treat for over 6 weeks some mild to acute headaches. what makes red throat last this long.

Throat infection mis-managed, Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, re-infection are some of the problems likely to persist for months if not attended properly. Throat swab examination and culture and sensitivity from the throat and appropriate antibiotics according to the out-come of the test results.
