Brief Answer:
No, it does not mean that you are epileptic.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
Seizures due to hypoglycemia are common and the future risk of epilepsy is negligible.
This is because the seizures occurred due to low blood sugar and not due to any brain disease.
As long as sugar remains normal, there is no risk of recurrence of seizures.
I hope my reply has helped you.
I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
Best wishes,

Doctor advised me to take Dekapene for bilpolar disorder . He stated that it is because i am bipolar i did seizures and went unconscious. I feel well withouf medicine and i dont support that because i am recently diagnosed that i am bipolar i became prone to seizures. Please advise.
Brief Answer:
I agree with you.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back.
I agree with you that bipolar disorder would not cause or increase the risk of seizures in your case.
So, in my view, you do not need any medicines to prevent future seizures.

The dose of Depakote should be gradually reduced. For example, it can be made two times daily for two weeks, then, one time daily for two weeks and then stop.
Please discuss this with your doctor too.
