Brief Answer:
Please be advised to get the nails checked

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Black mark on the nail can occur due to several reasons like fungal infection, minor trauma, melanoma (which is unlikely because the mark seems to disappear and reappear in another nail in your case), or even be normal occurrence especially if you are dark skinned.

So, it important to do a clinical evaluation and microscopic analysis of nail scrapings to come to a definite diagnosis. Please be advised to follow up with your primary care provider for further evaluation and management.
