What Causes A Bluish Black Spot On The Right Side Of The Abdomen?
Question: I just noticed a black and blue spot about a 1/2 inch in diameter just above my hip on the right side of my abdomen. It is not tender or sore nor is there any noticeable swelling or lump on touch.

either a fixed drug eruption to some medicine you have taken in the past few days or a bruise to some unnoticed injury.
Have you taken any pain killer or antibiotic in the past 5-7 days?
Did you hit yourself in this areas?
