What Causes A Bump On The Labia?
Question: Have asked but would like another viewpoint from someone well versed in STDS.
About 6 weeks ago I got a little bump on my labia, just next to my right lip, not on the inside where the openings are but if you pull the lips to one side, its on the flat red part just next to the edge of the lip. It was a small firm bump that then grew and remained very firm. It grew to around nearly a cm Id say and was raised around 3-4mm. A few days in I started to apply tea tree oil. In about a week I was able to squeeze it and a build up of white watery serum came out of it until it was completely drained. There was no pain. It went down and then continued to build up this same serum every few days and i would squeeze it out. It was totally painless and sometimes the serum would actually burst out like urine when I squeezed it. This happened over a couple of weeks and then now I can hardly see where it was but squeezed it again after a couple of weeks and yesterday could excrete a bit more serum. Do you think this is syphilus?? Im freaking out!
The bump was clean, smooth texture and pretty much the same colour as my labia, maybe a little redder but if so, not very noticeable. The secretion had a slight smell upon squeezing it but nothing crazy. Hope that helps.
Again, this is not on the inside near the vaginal opening so it cant be a bartholin cyst. Its on the side of the lips but not on the lip itself.
Weeks later now, it can hardly be seen, just raised a little maybe slightly which I can note when I pull the skin. Looks just like a lump would look after being drained, nothing too off.
Does a chancre ever look like this? Is it something that can be drained so many times? And whoever answers, can you please tell me if you have much personal experience with these kind of things as well as Syphilus in particular.

I have a lot of experience with chancres and I don't think what you are describing seems like one.
A chancre its an ulcer which its larger then 1 cm in general. Yes it not painful, but also has a clear base.
I think you might have had a cyst which its common for woman to have. Or even a vesicle with cause because the vulvae its wet and produces secretions.
Despite the position I would think its more of a bartholini cyst then a chancre.
Anyway, if you have had sexual encounters that makes you worry about STDs I would encourage you to consider doing the tests. Clinically and with our judgment we can have an idea of possible infections but only the tests tell it for sure what something is.

Thankyou very much!! So just to confirm, a chancre once it breaks remains open it wouldnt keep filling up and then deflating when squeezed? It is always an ulcer rather than a bump, yes? This is definitely not reminiscent of an ulcer.
And bartholini cyst can also be in this place? I didnt know that!
