What Causes A Cluster Of Small Painless Red Wart Like Spots On Penis Shaft?

Question: Hello I have a number of singular, small, painless, itchless, red wart like spots on the shaft of my penis that appeared 2 days after sex. I wore a condom however it broke at some point during intercourse (it was really rough) leaving most of my penis unprotected. I'm really concerned this may be herpes, but urination is normal there's no pain or itching I have a picture if it would help.

Thank you for your help heres a picture!
Brief Answer:
Seems to be superficial folliculitis, apply topical antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photograph and it is looking like superficial folliculitis which is due to inflammation of the hair follicles.
These are not looking like herpetic lesions.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to apply topical antibiotic like neosporin ointment or mupirocin cream on the affected areas twice daily for 7-10 days.
This should help in resolving them.

Detailed Answer:
Usually only hair bearing areas are affected though rarely it can occur in nonhair bearing areas.
In these cases it can be regarded as acneform lesions.

Okay what would you suggest doing if the neosporin doesnt work after 7-10 days? Should i then have an STI check?
Brief Answer:
Go for STD work up if neosporin doesn't work up in 10 days.
Detailed Answer:
Most probably neosporin will heal the lesions.
Otherwise you can go for a STD work up after 10 days.
