What Causes A Constant Feeling Of Something Blocked In The Anus?

default
Posted on Wed, 15 Jun 2016
Question: Hello, I am constantly having the feeling of something lodged in my anus. It becomes worse at night and when I move my right leg, I can feel it move. It is a very weird sensation. No pain or itching at all. I was told that I was born with a small hemorrhoid. When I have a bowel movement, it often feels like something is blocking the evacuation process. Bowels are small, broken balls.

Brief Answer:
Proctoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I suggest an evaluation by proctosigmoidoscope at this time. It is an instrument used to directly visualize the area of the rectum and sigmoid colon. If you have hemorrhoid at birth it might change its charecteristics often. So you need follow ups how it is changing. You may get this excised if this is the culprit that causes the feeling.

Please see a Surgeon or colorectal surgeon in your area.
