What Causes A Cyst On The Thigh Area In A Diabetic Patient?
Question: cyst noticed on my thigh area from 1 week.Its
enlarging.Photo enclosed. Post gastric bypass 6months I am 75kgs, lost around 30kgs.Diabetic under control with glyciphage 500mg 1-0-1.Yesterday shown cyst to a surgeon.Confirmed it's not sticking to bone/flesh (not able to define medically correctly).He told once it's riped can open.But advised to apply Tbact ointment. Please let me know am I moving correctly

This cyst looks like a sebaceus cyst. Its a benign lesion. Usually does not turn into a cancer. For sure it is not even close to the bone. Its right under the skin.
In my opinion ointment wont help at all. So its usage is pointless (it does not reach that deep).
The cyst should be removed completely (with the capsule witch surrounds it). Otherwise it will be recurring. Moreover, it may become infected and turn into an abscess.
It would be good to consult general surgeon with it.
