What Causes A Dark Spot On The Tongue With Metallic Taste In The Mouth?

Question: I have a dark spot on my tongue- not quite black and not quite blue- toward the from of my tongue. I do not recall any trama- ie biting my tongue etc. Also, I have a metallic taste in my mouth.

any thoughts??

It would be more appropriate if you can take and attach a picture of what you have ...this will make things more clear and help me guide you in a better way.

Usually tongue develops small vasculsr swelling sometimes called XXXXXXX angiomas they are usually of no problem.Having a history of trauma is not always there sometimes it may happen suring sleep and it might happen without any particulae trauma.

I would suggest you not to panic, This thing is usually not dangerous and usually regresses with time.
