What Causes A Dry Skin And Its Very Easy To Bleed In Ears?
Dry skin or dry wax if doesn't have the signs of an infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Dear,
Thank you for posting your query to HCM,
From what you are describing I would firstly say that it is most likely nothing to worry about.
It may be a dry wax piece, a dry skin (the skin there sometimes gets dry and its very easy to bleed since its a very thing type of skin), or a dead skin that accumulates in one place.
If the area there is not painful, not particularly getting more red, and its not producing yellow secretions, then its nothing to worry about. If you have the signs explained above, then you may have an external ear infection, and may need to use antibiotic drops for some day. But, it looks to me, from your description that its not the case of an infection.
If I was your caring doctor, I would recommend to be very careful, and avoid picking the skin in your ear, and also avoid putting any foreign body on it. If you notice wax coming out of it after shower, than remove the excess but do not attempt to clean the inside, because its natural for it to be there.
Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need any further clarifications.
Take care,
Dr. Papaqako
Not concerned if the first lesion has healed and its not there anymore
Detailed Answer:
Hello again dear,
The fact that the first one is not anymore there, makes me not to think about a cancer. A cancer would bleed but be persistent wound in the same place, growing and changing and its more comonly in places exposed to the sun.
Of course..keep an aye on it. We never can tell for sure that something is or is not cancer, until we do a biopsy. But at the same time can't ask for a biopsy to every lesion we see on the skin. If its not getting better, if its changing and its there in 2 weeks time, then maybe you should consider seeing it at a dermatologist with a dermatoscope or even free eyes and evaluate it. Anyway, make a photo if possible to compare it in time, and show the doctors after, if it is changing.
In summerising though, Im not concerned from what I hear from your history, since the first lesion has healed and isnt anymore there.
Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you need more clarification.
Regards,
Dr. Papaqako
