What Causes A Flesh Colored Bump On Tonsil?

Question: Hi! OK, So about a month and a half ago i had tonsil stones. They werent bad and i got them out and didnt have a problem since. Well on my left tonsil it looks like i have a flesh colored bump, more towards the open part of my throat. it doesnt hurt but once i noticed it; the day after very rarely it hurts when i swallow. i dont know if i that worried and making it up in my head or not. Help!
Brief Answer:
nothing to worry
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to healthcaremagic,
The surface of the tonsil is not regular. It is thrown into pits and folds and it is anything but smooth. Bumps are quite common on the tonsil. Healthy tonsil is pink in colour.
Pain is only experienced when the tonsil is infected. If your tonsil appears red and swollen then it will be painful and you need to see a doctor. If your tonsil is normal healthy pink then you have nothing to worry about.

Ok thanks! I did take a closer look. And I saw no red at all. Just a bump. I don't ever remember seeing this bump before though but I guess it's possible it was there but it's kinda noticeable. Also, their is slight pain when I swallow occasionally. What does that mean If it's pink with some pain? Should I be concerned?
Brief Answer:
No need to be concerned
