What Causes A Hard Lump Below The Navel?
Question: i have a hard lump under my belly and there is a huge rash going down onto the pelvic are. the lump is discharging some kind of pus and it is hot and burning. I did not notice anything earlier and it doesn't really hurt but there is a lot of discharge. I do have some fatigue and body aches but do not know what it could be or if I should go to dr.

To recapitulate: Female/50 - hard lump under belly - rash going down onto pelvic - hot, burning discharging pus - fatigue, body ache - tried Neosporin and Peroxide - surgery year and half ago - but not on scar line - gastric bypass 4 years ago ...
As per the history you have provided, the most probable cause is:
- Abscess with cellulitis, which has opened up partially. Since it is spreading I would advise you the following:
You need a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines.
If this is still not amenable, tests of blood, urine and high resolution ultrasound can help to have proper diagnosis of the condition, and may need a formal exploration, incision and drainage procedure if deemed necessary by your General Surgeon.
This may be related to the stitch or so at the umbilical port.
