What Causes A High Pulse Rate?

The rate is high, the rest is OK
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
96 bpm is a little high. 12ms PR interval is fine and whatever is lower than 120ms (QRS) is fine as well.
The high pulse rate is not a specific finding and sometimes it can only reflect anxiety. If you were too stressed during the electrocardiogram then this could be a normal reaction to the stress.
A high pulse rate when the rhythm is regular is usually secondary to other causes which could be a low hematocrit, a low oxygen level, decreased intravascular volume etc so the interpretation of the result depends a lot on clinical examination and medical history.
I hope I've helped!
If you'd like further clarifications, please let me know and I'll be glad to answer.
Kind Regards!
