What Causes A Large Lump In The Left Testis?

Question: My 8 year old son has a large and lumpy thing near his left testis while the right is same egg shape. This I noticed a month ago snd also consulted s pediatrition who examined while making my son lay down. He said its epididymis separated from testis which is normal and sent us home. But after doing more research I don't think it's normal. Please tell me uf I should be concerned. My son doesn't complain if any pain.

As per your description, it looks like an EPIDIDYMAL CYST.
Another possibility is HYDROCELE OF THE CORD.
Ultrasound scrotum will confirm the diagnosis.
