also today when I pooped I strained a little on the last bit and here was bright red blood on the tip. not Much though. I wiped and it seemed to stop bleeding so I'm wondering if it's just a cut from straining to hard.
Brief Answer:
Yah.It Could be due to a crack in the Anal canal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
When hard stool is passing, there will be trauma to the inner lining of Anal canal leading to a Cut called Fissure in ano. There will be pain associated with bleeding.
Your stool should be soft. Please drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
Nothing to worry.
It will come down.

one more question. I also have a sorness on the my left side near my ribs idk exactly if it's the ribs of not. but sometimes it feels like I have a knot there but it doesn't look like anything pops out. then at times I get a sharp pain. I'm an athlete and my chiropractor also said my body is out of alignment. any idea about what it could be?
thank you.
