What Causes A Lump In The Breast?

Question: Dear Sir, My name is XXXX XXXXXXX Female, 37 years age. There is small lump near my left breast which has developed over last 1 week. It is not painful though but i can feel it. It is near the nipple and inside. Only when i press that part, i can feel it. Do i need to worry about the same.

It would be difficult to predict the nature of the lump without physically examining the lump. However based on your description - size, lack of symptoms and non tender, I would not be overly worried with this lump. However I will urge you to show it to your doctor / surgeon once.
Alternatively you can closely watch the status for the next few days to weeks. If the lump persists visit a doctor; if it regress, then need not be worried.
