What Causes A Lump On The Scrotum?

Information
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Given that you have diabetes, I would recommend that you go in to be seen where a doctor would most likely do an incision and drainage of the affected area. I mention the diabetes because it can delay wound healing, and increase the likelihood of infection, especially if your blood sugar levels are not well controlled.
It does not sound infected yet, but I can't say for sure - it really needs to be seen. But if you absolutely can't go in to be seen, keep it clean, and soak in hot water at least twice a day. (Not so hot that you burn your skin, but pretty hot.) Alternatively, you can use a hot wet washcloth and keep reheating it with hot water then applying to the swelling. But don't push on the swelling/lump with the cloth.
Keep your blood sugars as normal as possible is the other thing to do.
Again, if possible, I'd prefer for you to go in to be seen in person given your history.
If the area becomes red and is spreading (and not related to the hot compresses) or produces pus, do not delay going in to be seen.
I hope this information helps.
