Are you taking Metronidazole? There are a few medications with a profile of side effects of a metallic like taste, including over the counter vitamins and medicines.
You may want to rule these out and attempt to substitute one or another if this continues.
Sinus issues and or colds can also present with a metallic like sensation.
I'd suggest ensuring adequate hydration, and to assess whether there are other symptoms involved before assuming chemical exposure. However, if there are other symptoms I certainly suggest you seek medical attention.
