What Causes A Quarter Sized Lump On The Hip Area?
Question: Yesterday I had a quarter sized lump under my skin on the outside of my buttocks/hip area. Today is has spread to a line of mass (several lumps and a line of lump) under the skin. No noticeable insect bite marks, scratches or skin deformities. Slight pink in color. Does not itch. Is painful to the touch and with movement. No other symptoms, fever, chills, etc. not warm to the touch.

Brief Answer:
Either inflammed cyst or lipoma, go for clinical examination
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs and it doesn't look like a boil.
It seems to be either some inflamed epidermoid cyst or lipoma.
I would recommend you to consult a doctor and go for clinical examination of the lumps.
