What Causes A Rash On The Hands Post Intake Of Trimethoprim?

Question: i HAVE A SERIOUS RASH INFECTION ON MY HANDS AND MY FINGERS. iT HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 2 MONTHS. I HAD GONE TO THE DOCTOR FOR A KIDNEY INFECTION AND HE PRESCRIBED SULFAMETH/TMP 800/160MG TB. lAST YEAR I HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO CRESTOR. I HAD HIVES ALL OVER MY BODY. I WENT TO RHEUMATOLOGIST AND HE TOLD ME WHAT WAS GOING ON. MY DOCTOR CHANGED MY PRESCRIPTION TO FENOBRITE. I CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE OF THESE DRUGS IS CAUSING THIS SEVERE RASH IN MY PALMS OF MY HANDS. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS GOING ON?
I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT NOW I HAVE A RASH UNDER MY ARMS, ALSO. I AM NOT USING THE HALOBETASOL PROPIONATE FOR THIS RASH. II JUST WASH THEM WITH WATER MIXED WITH VINEGAR.

Brief Answer:
Can use clobetasole, please follow up with your doctor
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.
If the rash appeared at your hands was following use of trimethoprime/sulpha drug, then it's good you stopped using it and consult with your doctor about this side effect.
Can use clobetasole cream locally to reduce inflammation.
A photo of the rash on arms and hands is required to let me evaluate myself for the final diagnosis. I want to see if the rash could be due to fungal infection apart allergy.
Thank you.
