Question: hello docotor i am wondering whats is causing me to have a rash on my penis head and skin i been having it for almost a whole month now and my penis started to get dry as well i have tried to not scratch self down there but it has been real itchy and currently i notice ive have some split lines on my penis skin, i really need your help..

I am Dr. Kakkar (Dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed the Image.
You seem to have developed yeast/ candida infection of the glans and covering skin i.e candidal balanoposthitis. This condition is itchy and can present as redness, dryness and fissures on the covering skin (prepuce)
I suggest you to use a topical antifungal cream e.g canesten - HC cream (contains clotrimazole 1% and hydrocortisone 1%), twice daily for a week. It is available over the counter.
Use plain lukewarm water to clean the area. Avoid soap or antiseptic etc.
