Hi there,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I am Dr.Barani and I am pleased to assist you.
Is your left arm/hand have a burning sensation?
Are they itchy?
Do they appear swollen ( the photos are little blurred)?
Did you sleep on your left arm/hand?
Is the discoloration slowly getting faded away or still persisting with the same intensity?
Regards,

my arms are not swollen or itchy and I do not have a burning sensation that I have noticed. I may have slept on my arm last night or my wife may have. it seems to be fading slightly as they day has gone on.
Brief Answer:
Due to pressure of sleeping on arms
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the additional information.
Since it is slowly fading away and since there are no signs of itching or swelling and also there is no pain, there is no need to worry.
The redness is probably due to congestion secondary to the pressure of sleeping on your arm.
Let me know if you have any more questions.
